Posey, a trans man in his 30s, was a girl at birth. The transgender man claimed in an interview that he had sensed something was amiss from a young age but had never known what it was.
Posey’s trans coworker helped him understand he wanted to be a man a few years ago, and he quickly began medically transitioning.
The 31-year-old trans man was utterly taken aback when he learned that he was expecting a child. Posey said that he and his young son are enjoying their lives together.
Posey talked openly about his fatherhood struggle last month after receiving criticism for his b-eastfeeding videos. After it was revealed that the trans man breastfeeds his baby child after giving birth, he received criticism
Many people on social media criticized him for nursing and carrying his child, saying that it made him less of a man. When people learned that Posey is breastfeed his son, they screamed in shock.
We’re not here to please anyone but ourselves, so it’s ok if not everyone approves of our lifestyle. I share my pregnancy and nursing journey in the hopes of being able to make others feel comfortable and know they’re not alone, Posey said.
But as he revealed in one of his videos, some people weren’t thrilled with his being both a mother and a father to his child, saying things like You do not belong on earth, Men don’t bear babies, and Go ahead and go back to where you came from
Posey encouraged them to breastfeed their own children as well, saying that there is no need to feel guilty about using what they have to give the child everything. I have the necessary components to (b-eastfeed).
According to an interview he gave to The Daily Mail, Just because I transitioned does not mean I divested myself from wanting to give my child nutrients. Even though the response initially hurt him a lot, he claimed he made the decision to keep assisting those who are through a similar situation.
