Lecturer Resigns After Bedroom Videos With Student Leak (Video)

 


Last Friday, lewd content involving a Midlands State University (MSU) Zimbabwean lecturer and a law student went viral on social media.


The videos and pictures showed Reginald Chidawanyika, the Chairperson of the Department of Procedural Law, and student Panashe Ashley Hwaviva getting intimate and caressing each other.


The content confirmed that the two were romantically involved, and one of the pictures showed the student twerking naked in a WhatsApp video call with the lecturer.

The incident happened during the student’s vacation period, according to MSU’s marketing and communications director, Mirirai Mawere.


Chidawanyika has since resigned, and the university says they have a clear sexual harassment policy that sets parameters. Severe steps will be taken if there is evidence of sexual harassment.read more...
